An unbelievable 4-string bass for this price.
The Aria SB-404 Ovangkol 4-String Electric Bass Guitar is an answer to the professional player's prayers. The Ovangkol body and maple/nato 5-ply neck provide beauty, while the BDS-5 pickups bring out a deep, punchy sound that works in every genre of music. The Aria bass has a stained-natural finish with black hardware. The body is made of ovangkol, with a maple and nato 5-ply neck-thru-body design. The rosewood fingerboard features 24 frets and a classic treble-side cutaway for upper register bass notes. The electronics consist of two BDS-5 pickups. Add that to a rich rosewood fingerboard and you've got the perfect recipe for deep, powerful sustain. The fingerboard inlays feature the original eye design that appeared on the Aria basses of old.
Neck Through Body
The Aria SB-404 bass guitar's original neck-through body is made by expert craftsmen using traditional guitar-building techniques. The Heel-less cutaway allows smooth and easy access to even the highest frets.

Ok, so i went to sam ash to try out the cliff burton signature bass. i tried it out, and the neck was very thick, the electronics seemed cheap and the knob was broken. i was very disappointed, and i decided to try out this bass instead. this bass is about 10x better than the CB-1000 and less than half the cost. it has very low action with no buzzing, and it sounds amazing slapping and finger picking. it's hands down the best bass ive played to date.
