I found one of these basses in a music store and it was torn to shreds. Parts of the bridge were salvaged and the neck was ruined. After countless hours of repair due to abuse by the former owner, I got this thing in working condition, and never put it down. The BC Rich pickups are great sounding and the 24 frets give it a huge range. This thing is very large and very long, but it lets you hit notes you could only hit with a 6 string bass. I dropped in EMG HZs and this thing is incredible. Its the only bass I ever wanted, and I am glad I have it. If there is one piece of advice I could give you though, is to get a coffin case because it will not fit in any other case. I am dead serious.

I have owned this bass for about 2 years now, and i have used it regularly. Its a decent starter level bass and is good for the price. However, no case will fit this bass, except for a custom made bc rich case, or coffin case. Due to the sharp angles at the bottom, the points at the bottom of the bass are prone to chipping. The electronics are sub par as well. I had to have the cable jack fixed and replaced twice. I just gutted the entire instrument and replaced all of the electronics and the sound quality is much better. Having said that, this bass is good quality for the price, but dont expect a masterly crafted instrument.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

I had a bass just like this one only it was platinum series and was a bright purple. The only complaint that I have was the weight. I have a warlock bronze series guitar, another warlock platinum series bass w/wicked widow headstock, and a WMD 5-string Widow bass. so as indicated, I am an avid fan of BC Rich. in regards to casing it, I am in agreement with the coffin case, however, there are cases that are made for the warlock design. I have seen them. All of my BC's are cased in the coffin cases.

    epic

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

ive been playing for a meer 4 years so this bass was good in my prespective. the sounds a bit muddy but it sounds good for system of a down and such. finding a case for this is farely hard the only case that will fit it is the coffin. plus it being long its heavy and is a pain to carry around but youll get used to it. and as long as it is im only 13 and im fine with it. its been dropped more then i can remember and it barely has any scratches. but this is a crowd pleaser and every one will think your jesus. all in allthe sound of this bass is epic and dont listen to anyone else but yea its a bit muddy.

    This bass is alright

    By

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

i had this bass for a few years, and it is tough. its been dropped a lot in it's day, and it's still in one piece. it is built well. the only real complain i have is it's tone. it's ok, not saying it's horrible. i also recently bought an Ibanez bass which i bought as a backup bass originally, but the tone sounds better than my warlock so this one is now my backup bass. However, i have used this one throughout most of my time playing bass and it got the job done. it sounds a bit muddy, but maybe switching the pickup will give it more tone. Overall it's a pretty good bass if you don't mind it's size and weight. looks awesome too. if you play with distortion you won't really have a problem, but if you like it clean, either switch out the pickup, or go with an Ibanez

listen to me not these other guys who are bashing

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

Okay look i got this bass 4 years ago and i still play it everyday of my life, its a great bass and im a tall guy so i love how long it is my only complains is somehow one of the tuning machines came loose and it leans a lil but it hasnt stopped it because its went through 5 sets of strings and it still sounds great! this bass sounds really amazing for just having a single coil. This bass isnt the best bass because of the price i think it should be a lil sheaper but it is a great sounding bass the only buzzing i heard was a lil on the d string on the first fret but this is a great bass for any kind of music, ive played santana to system of a down to mudvayne gret bass

    good buy

    By

    from Long Island

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

right off the bat, the only case that this long bass will fit in is a coffin case (it's 43" long). its also a little on the heavy side, but you get use to it. I've been playing it for about 4 years now, and although I want to upgrade the pickups, its still a great bass. the original strings have much to be desired, but with some tapewounds, it sounds great. the sound is a little on the brighter side, but for metal/rock it sounds great. stays in tune like forever too (mines been intune for about 3 months now). its a great value, and a wonderful start for metal/hard rock bassists looking for a bright sound, and a rockin' look.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

This bass is by far the best bass I've found in this price range...I've had mine for just over a year and absolutely love it-the action's fast, it holds tuning very well, sounds-and looks-awesome. A great bass, especially if you're on a budget.

The epiphone of the B.C. Richs

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

I bought this cheap off a friend about a year ago, and love it! I play in a Misfits cover band, and its perfect for horror punk. When I can afford it I will upgrade to the NT but this bass lives up to the BC Rich name.

    So long, but so great!

    By

    from Nashville, TN

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

I have had this bass for a good 7 months now. I have never had a problem with it, EVER! Bridge and truss rod are easily adjusted to be in perfect intonation, and stay that way. Tuners are great! The only thing that is beginning to be a major setback to me is finding a case. The pointed headstock sure does make it difficult, you cant just buy your basic 10$ case. Other than that, this is a perfect bass for beginners as well as advanced players!
