I found one of these basses in a music store and it was torn to shreds. Parts of the bridge were salvaged and the neck was ruined. After countless hours of repair due to abuse by the former owner, I got this thing in working condition, and never put it down. The BC Rich pickups are great sounding and the 24 frets give it a huge range. This thing is very large and very long, but it lets you hit notes you could only hit with a 6 string bass. I dropped in EMG HZs and this thing is incredible. Its the only bass I ever wanted, and I am glad I have it. If there is one piece of advice I could give you though, is to get a coffin case because it will not fit in any other case. I am dead serious.

I have owned this bass for about 2 years now, and i have used it regularly. Its a decent starter level bass and is good for the price. However, no case will fit this bass, except for a custom made bc rich case, or coffin case. Due to the sharp angles at the bottom, the points at the bottom of the bass are prone to chipping. The electronics are sub par as well. I had to have the cable jack fixed and replaced twice. I just gutted the entire instrument and replaced all of the electronics and the sound quality is much better. Having said that, this bass is good quality for the price, but dont expect a masterly crafted instrument.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

I had a bass just like this one only it was platinum series and was a bright purple. The only complaint that I have was the weight. I have a warlock bronze series guitar, another warlock platinum series bass w/wicked widow headstock, and a WMD 5-string Widow bass. so as indicated, I am an avid fan of BC Rich. in regards to casing it, I am in agreement with the coffin case, however, there are cases that are made for the warlock design. I have seen them. All of my BC's are cased in the coffin cases.

This bass looks awesome, but thats about all its got. Its not the worst bass you can buy but after getting it I was really disappointed, even for playing metal it didnt live up to its hype.

    This bass is alright

    By Black Metal Mayhem

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

i had this bass for a few years, and it is tough. its been dropped a lot in it's day, and it's still in one piece. it is built well. the only real complain i have is it's tone. it's ok, not saying it's horrible. i also recently bought an Ibanez bass which i bought as a backup bass originally, but the tone sounds better than my warlock so this one is now my backup bass. However, i have used this one throughout most of my time playing bass and it got the job done. it sounds a bit muddy, but maybe switching the pickup will give it more tone. Overall it's a pretty good bass if you don't mind it's size and weight. looks awesome too. if you play with distortion you won't really have a problem, but if you like it clean, either switch out the pickup, or go with an Ibanez

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

I purchased this bass to add to my collection last year. I've been playing for over 16 years. If you truly know HOW to set up an instrument, this bass is no different from any other. I don't know why people expect all basses to sound like their favorite band's. Also, Price don't mean quality! I have $79 Rogues all the way to an $1100 Alvarez. I've used them all for recording. Every instrument has it's own voice. Like it or not. This Warlock has a great '80s metal sound. It's not built for rumble or blues. If your looking for a different sound, add an effects processor of your choosing. But do everyone else a favor and learn how to adjust your instrument before writing bad reviews! Mine has no buzz and the pick-ups sound great.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

This has to be the most horrible sounding bass Ive ever heard in my career as a musician. If you are looking for a quality bass just save up your money and buy something worth it. I use a Esp Ltd. F-204 and an American fender j-bass. Both my guitars kick this piece out of the competition. The sound of this bass reminds me of a forsaken mud puddle.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

ive been playing for a meer 4 years so this bass was good in my prespective. the sounds a bit muddy but it sounds good for system of a down and such. finding a case for this is farely hard the only case that will fit it is the coffin. plus it being long its heavy and is a pain to carry around but youll get used to it. and as long as it is im only 13 and im fine with it. its been dropped more then i can remember and it barely has any scratches. but this is a crowd pleaser and every one will think your jesus. all in allthe sound of this bass is epic and dont listen to anyone else but yea its a bit muddy.

This bass is by far the best bass I've found in this price range...I've had mine for just over a year and absolutely love it-the action's fast, it holds tuning very well, sounds-and looks-awesome. A great bass, especially if you're on a budget.

I bought this cheap off a friend about a year ago, and love it! I play in a Misfits cover band, and its perfect for horror punk. When I can afford it I will upgrade to the NT but this bass lives up to the BC Rich name.

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

Great buy! I've had it for about 3 months now and I'm glad I bought it. Great price and great bass. The only bad thing about this guitar is the fingerprints. Try not to tough the bottom of the guitar or else you will get fingerprints all over it. Get a cleaner for it if you do.

My bass worked just fine for awhile it buzzed for about a month and progressively got worse now ive had to file down frets 1-6 the buzzing was so bad my tuner could no longer tune the A or D string even after the file job it still buzzes but for the price this is an OK bass

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

I would have to say that the warlock is a great bass for begginers and experts alike! I have owned mine for close to half a year and I absolutly love it it is simple but it gives the look of every thing metal music stands for it may not be as extream looking as the beast bass but it has every thing a bass player needs and it playes realy nice to! Not to mention the tone is incredable I would recomend playing it through a behringer amp that has the ultrabass efects! Over all I would highly recomend The warlock for all of those that want the looks of metal and the quality of a B.C. Rich bass!

Comments about B.C. Rich Bronze Warlock Electric Bass Guitar:

My bass arrived in excellent condition and after the initial adjustments, such as pick-ups, harmonics, truss rod, and rear strap pin, I am completely satisfied with my Warlock. It sounds great and is very comfortable. I can play it standing or sitting. I play it through a Carvin R1000 Stereo Bass Amp with 4 cabinets. 2-18's, 1-15 and 2-12's. I use a DOD TR3B effects pedal and the sound is awesome! It won't fit in the ATC-425 Coffin Case that I ordered, so I plan to buy the DL-425 Flight Model. I highly recommend this Bass.
