If there is one design that defines B.C. Rich, it just might be the Mockingbird. The Mockingbird encompasses the past with an eye to the future. Rich Bass Humbuckers that deliver full bass tone, mahogany body and neck, and 24 jumbo frets on its ebony fretboard. The Mockinbird ST ushers in the future of bass while remembering what got it there. Quality parts and adventurous looks.

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird ST Electric Bass:

I don't always write reviews. That being said, this bass warrants one. It came well packaged however, the pickup switch had a short. Thus,it will only work while being held onto. Issues like this should not happen, especially when the packaging is perfect. My thoughts are it was a return that was resent out without a proper go-through.

One other thing that is worth noting is that the chrome on the tuners are less than perfect and have some imperfections that are apparent. This should happen on a mid-upper level quality bass.

I own a B.C. Rich mocking bird guitar and love it. Shame this one came the way it did. Musicians Friend would not replace with a different color, so I was left with no option other than returning it, as the color chosen "red" was no longer available. Oh well...

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird ST Electric Bass:

Great Player. Headstock diving does not bug me. Mine came ready to play out of the box. The tone of the bass unplugged is great. Neck through is well done. The stock pickups are really good pickups, but I enjoy active pickups. That would be my only change. If you are not used to how B.C. necks play I would try one hands on first. Enjoy!!

It's really really nice and I'm happy with it overall. But for some reason, the way it hangs on me is a bit... towards my left making it hard to reach the left of the briedge

Comments about B.C. Rich Mockingbird ST Electric Bass:

Plays looks and sounds great out of the box.
Have played Jazz basses and there is no
substitute for the two I have, but this a great
change of pace I have been looking for.
