I puchased a Virgo Celtic Tremolo Electric Guitar in the used section and when it arrived I discovered the neck was set wrong and the strings were falling over the edge of the frets! So knowing that this was discontinued, I took it to the garage re-set it right myself. The Strap was set wrong too so I moved it as if it were a Flying V and perfect! Now this Guitar is Rocks and the action is smooth and perfect for Metal. The shape and fretboard are Very Cool! Takes back to Old School W.A.S.P Days.
I use this guitar and it growls like old school scorpions. I love the sound and feels so easy to play. It is one of a kind!
Quality would have been great at first that's if they put it together right.
I could afford it.
It's a great bass for the price! It's a got amazing looks and great sound! The factory pickups aren't the best but the output is pretty good. The pewter hardware is great because it isn't too shiny and compliments the design of the Virgo perfectly. My only real complaint is that I have trouble with restringing it, but that's not a big deal to me because it handles low tunings like a dream. I highly recommend this bass to anyone.
An awesome active bass for beginners. It might not do slap well (which is NOT my thing), but sounds great for metal/blues, depending on your settings. The fretboard is really user freindly, and the electronics are not that hard to use live...I used it at a gig one day after delivery, with a quick intonation setup!
well its good for beginners but once u get better u notice the pickups aren't that great but just replace them with better ones and its all good
This was my first active bass...I threw a quick setup to it the day before a friends B-Day party her band was playing, and jammed half the night with it. Nailed Black Sabbath great, and I even did something I don't normally do with my mainstay Precission copy...finger picked a tune. Now, I know I'm heavy handed on bass (27 years on guitar, only 4 on bass), but this thing performed flawlessly!
