Very Nice Bass

Very good action and tone. Great for playing in a band with horns, as it won't feedback like an acoustic bass. Can remove neck and fit into a hard-shell golf club case for airline travel. 3 band EQ /preamp. I own 5 basses, and this is the one I use most of the time.

I have had my half note for 6 months.  I have neglected my electric bass since I received the Half Note.  This bass sounds good on traditional jazz like bebop and swing, but it particularly sounds good with a bit of funk style playing.  I have used it on two recording sessions: the first song was a Cole Porter song and the second was a country song.  The bass sounded great on both.
