A beautiful body design with powerful EMG HZ humbucker pickups.

EMG HZ pickups provide high-output power and low noise from their dual bar polepieces and overwound coils. Other notable features of this special bass include precision die-cast tuners and a dual-purpose, die-cast bridge.

Comments about Dean John Entwistle Hybrid Electric Bass Guitar:

First off, I've always wanted a "FenderBird". I am impressed at the overall build quality, and this thing is versatile in the tonal options available.I got the Trans Brazillia and this finish is beautiful. It weighs a LOT less than my Thunderbird, and has little if any neck dive. The set up out of the box was pretty good, it was actually intonated, and fairly well in tune out of the box. I didn't care for the stock strings and promptly put a set of my liking on, and let me tell you. It plays like butter.

Comments about Dean John Entwistle Hybrid Electric Bass Guitar:

This is great guitar for its inexpensive price. I was blown away by its impressively wide range of tone. It's comfortable, light and has a very smooth action. It was also equipped with EMG pickups and D'Addario strings, so there was no real need for any hardware upgrades from the factory standard. There is a balance/neck-dive issue, but that should be obvious to anyone by its design before purchase, so that could not be considered a fair criticism, simply something the user should be prepared to rock with. It's very suitable for most popular genres, particularly rock and metal. Especially metal. I would definitely suggest this for an intense, lengthy trip to Mount Thrashmore. I'll be using it onstage for years to come and slaughtering crowds by the thousands with its heavy thrash action.
