A bass designed with the style and sound of the late, great John Entwistle in mind.
The John Entwistle Spider Bass Guitar is inspired by the late and legendary Who bassist for the bassist on a budget. Extreme lines and angles fit perfectly with Entwistle's playing style along with the spider graphics and black widow inlays. It's made out of quality components like an alder top and body, mahogany neck with ebony fretboard and pearl black widow inlays with a custom pearl spider on the 12th fret. To make sure your sound cuts through, the Spider is equipped with two EMG HZ humbucker pickups that provide plenty of headroom with tons of punchy mids and highs while maintaining a well rounded low end growl.

Comments about Dean John Entwistle Spider Bass Guitar:
I have been playing bass for over 30+ years and I've owned over 100 basses, and played just about everything.
The Dean John Entwistle (import) is absolutely one of BEST out of all of them. The neck feels like it was made just for me. The 34" scale is so easy to play, but the over size of the instrument (very long) makes strings sound ten times bigger than most basses.
The active electronics are dead quiet and studio ready. The controls are volume, blend, bass / mid / treble boost and cut. You can achieve most any sound on this bass.
It is a modern, room filling, awesome, very big sound. The playability is fantastic!
I like stuff like RUSH, The Who, Black Sabbath, Stanley Clarke, etc and this bass is PERFECT for that style. It cuts through the band mix perfectly and you never get lost.
The black finish is very nice, flawless. The spider inlay is cool. The only thing I wish they would've done is made the electronics in this bass identical to the USA made model. Other than that, I literally have no complaints.
Get this bass. You won't be disappointed!
