Comments about Dean Metalman 2A ML Bass Guitar:

I have had this bass for 6 years now and at first it was really good. After a few years of play the bass kind went downhill. The neck is a very uncomfortable and the pick ups are weak even though there 9v active pickups. The neck does not stay in tune for very long and about once a month I need to get the neck set on it because the 1st fret starts to buzz and I don't really like the sound completely you can get a good sound but you really have to have the right amp and pedals. Also the bass doesn't work all that well for drop tunings below D which is weird because its a metal man guitar

Update to my last review!

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A ML Bass Guitar:

Every thing I said in the last review is still the same EXCEPT, there is another thing I don't like about it. I have had this Bass for less than two months, and I've already had to send it back TWICE to get it fixed! The first time, the electricity conductors for battery did not work, at all; i tried five different batteries and none of them worked. When i got it back i tried the same exact batteries and they all worked. Now I have to send it back again because the place where you plug the the Instrument cable in on the guitar is broken. wires are broken, Washers broke, the actual peice that holds the instrument cable broke in half! I have only played this bass one time before I had to send it back again. Other than that one time, it has been in it's case up against my wall on the ground.

IT'S GREAT!!!!!

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A ML Bass Guitar:

I got this bass for Christmas. It is probably the best bass I have ever played. It sounds great, It's comfortable, It looks awesome, and alot more! There are some things I DON'T like about it though. One thing is: It has to have a 9Volt battery to work. It gets really anoying when you are playing and all of a sudden, the bass stops working because of the battery. Another thing I don't like is: It's alot bigger than any of my other basses. I am 6'4, and if i stand this bass up, it is up to my chin. I spent hours trying to find a case it would fit into. I found The Coffin Case the easiest for this bass to fit into. the bass is about 53 inches tall and 18 inches wide. Those are the only 2 things I don't like about it. The skull volume knobs with ruby eyes look GREAT. The Chainsaw inlays are awesome.

Good Bass

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A ML Bass Guitar:

I was given this bass last christmas by my bandmates and I so happy. I needed a new bass, and was saving up to get one. The stock knobs, which look like skulls, are uncomfortable and should be replanced right away. I put gibson speed knobs on mine and it was much better. I love the razor inlays, but mostly I love the sound. It sounds amazing run through a bass effect board with metal dist. on. You can play for hours. It is well worth the $ and is highly recomended. Plays just as good as the $5000 basses. A worthy adition to anyones arsenal.

BIG BASS

By BassBender420

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A ML Bass Guitar:

This is a very unique bass guitar. Very large. The only problem is that the input jack was messed up. I had to jiggle the cord around to get it to work. I was going to send it back, but I have a soldering gun, and input jacks are really cheap. After the new jack was installed, it sounded GREAT! Very loud. Needed some setting up, truss rod had to be set. I wish the shipping people would loosen the strings so the neck would not get warped during shipping. Every guitar I've ordered has had to have the truss rod adjusted. Other than that, great buy (not as good as the Washburn Bantam)

Great Metal Tone

By Twaysan

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A ML Bass Guitar:

I ordered this bass a couple weeks ago, and when I pulled it out of the box I was in awe. The body is huge, and looks almost intimidating. After a quick tuning I plugged the bass into my amp, and was nearly blown away by the sound. The active pickups can sound anywhere between a growl and a heavily distorted over-drive. My only complaint is that the pick ups are powered by a 9 volt battery.

This Bass Rocked. I bought it a little over 3 months ago and it has served me well. I have recorded a few times with it, and every time it has been the best sound.
