A mean Dean metal machine with active electronics.

The V shape, black finish, skull knobs, and red chainsaw inlays give the Metalman V the killer onstage looks for metal players. Its massive humbuckers and 2-band active tone circuits churn out the perfect sound. Edgy, hairy, growly, and aggressive, it's tone is well suited for senseless sonic violence.

      wicked look, crunchy sound

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A V Bass Guitar:

This is a wicked looking bass and if you buy mostly based on how cool it looks this is for you. I play crusty punk rock and the crunch that you get out of it sounds great. the only complaint i have is the highs don't sound that great at all. it might be because i haven't changed the factory strings yet (which are terrible, you'll have to do that right away) but this bass was made for metal and it sounds like it. It takes a bit of getting used to because when i first picked it up the fretboard and strings feel about 4 inches moved to the left but after getting used to it i actually like that better now. heavier than my ibanez, but not a tank, and keep in mind that you can't really play this sitting down. but all in all you won't find a crunchier, cooler looking bass for this price, you get A LOT of bang for your buck. i just wish these weren't made in china, right out of the box i had to have the input jack fixed which wasn't too much of an issue, just annoying.

      Total metal

      By GooK

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A V Bass Guitar:

This bass plays extreamly well. The neck is a bit wide at the nut but the whole neck is this so fret work is still no problem. If you want to play some heavy hitting in your face metal this bass will get the job done. It isn't a versatile bass though. If you plan on doing anything besides death metal I'd suggest making a different choice or change the pickups. Playing slap and pop is easy but doesn't sound good. It also doesn't give you any highs and hardly any mids. It's made for metal though and how often do you see a metal player do much besides use the e string? Great at what it's made for, but not the right choice for anything else.

Dean Metalman 2A V Bass Guitar

      By bedroom rocker

Comments about Dean Metalman 2A V Bass Guitar:

This is a sweet bass, the active pick-ups make's it sound awsome its a great guitar. I would recommend buying this bass, the only reason i'm not getting it is because i think 6-string basses are better.
