I have this bass, and it is curently my only bass. I dont have a lot of complaints about it, one, that my strap has come undone a few times, but its no big, you can always buy a nice one; two, the amp doesnt get real good sound the louder you go, the buzz isn't terribly bad, but its enough to be anoying; three, its short scale, i have nothing against these, but when i went to get a string i had to cut the end off of a normal scale string, not reall bad, but had a fun time getting it in the tuning key hole, overall, nice bass, nothing really bad to stop from making it a first

Dont buy this bass. Especially for Beginners. Yeah sure if your little like a kid learning but otherwise dont do it. The frets are so small and this bass is tiny and horrible. The strings last a while but break after that and regular string snap and the bridge easily. I dont know if the strings it comes with are smaller but the bridge doesnt seem big enough for average strings. And its hard to transfer to a new bass with full size or extra jumbo frets. Also the strings are looser since the neck is shorter. So you cant go as fast switching to a full size.Just be safe and dont buy it.

Simply excellent

The WildFire bass is simply one of the best bass guitars a beginner can use. It stays in tune for long periods of time and sounds great. I've been playing bass for about six years now, and I wanted to get a practice bass to leave in my garage, so I picked this one. The funny thing is I have Twiggy's (Marilyn Manson) bass, and I find myself using this more. It's the perfect bass for both a experienced player and a newbie, and hey, who can beat the price?

Good for beginners

By LaVerta

from Hampton

I bought this bass package about a year ago and it is pretty good for a beginner, but not for advanced players. The default strings aren't all that great, so be prepaired to replace them. I did notice the the upper frets buzz a bit which can become annoying. If you are looking for a nice (and low priced) bass package to begin playing, buy this. It's perfect for a beginner.

An Incredible Bass, at an Incredible Price

By WillisMcFillis

from Westford, MA

This bass is awesome! I got it for Christmas and I started playing it immediately. It doesn't fall out of the strap, the strings don't rattle, and the amp RULES! You can create a wide variety of sounds with the knobs. It doesn't buzz either. If you're thinking aof buying a starter bass, don't buy an expensive one, buy this pack!

A great Pack

By Taylor-drFrs

from West Virginia

This is a great kit for the money. I've had mine for almost three months and had no problem yet. The amp buzzes a little; but unless your spend mega bucks on an amp, all of them will. The picks are sturdy. The zippers on the gig bag are cheaply made. Its a prettier guitar in person and plays nicely. Worth the money for sure.

I got this bass package the other day and it was all worth the money which wasn't alot. This package is perfect for beginners and has a price you can't beat. The guitar is awesome and the only problem I have is when you turn the amp up load it buzzes too much, but overall it's a good buy.

A Good Starting Bass

By Master of Puppets182

from Bowling Green, KY

This was my first bass and I don't regret getting it. This is a great beginning bass for a good price. The amp isn't that bad, it was the chord that was the problem. I still use the amp and have a P bass now. If you're looking for a starter bass for a good price get this one.

blowen away

By whiteshark321@aol.com

from summerville, SC

This is a grate bass to start of with. It is so light. The amp is louder then you would think. The tuner is accurate and easy to use. The DVD is vary informative. The strap is strong and you don?t have to worry about it coming off and if you are interested in joining a band the bag is also grate for practice it can hold every thing but the amp duh. The cord is a little short but is strong and good. I personally don?t use picks so but the ones that come with it are thick and strong. So buy it for a starting bass and you wont be disappointed.
