Don't Forget

Experience the feel and looks of a roasted maple neck on this five-string beauty.

The Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo HH delivers both sonically and aesthetically. Select basswood is carved into THE most distinctive body style ever, and is very well balanced and responsive with a super-tight 5-bolt joint to a select roasted figured maple neck with ebony fretboard.

Dual neodymium humbuckers with 4-band EQ on two concentric knobs and continuous balance provide huge tone with precision command. Schaller BM tuners with tapered string posts, easily accessible truss rod, matching headstock, and a graphite acrylic resin-coated body cavity for supreme noise shielding add up to true Music Man luxury.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Bongo 5 HH with Roasted Maple Neck 5-String Electric Bass:

The sound, look, and feel of this bass is absolutely amazing! My previous bass was a StingRay 5 and the Bongo retains the excellent tone of the Sting Ray while adding tonal versatility with the second pickup. Rather than having a pickup selector switch, it has a knob that acts as a sort of "cross-fader" between the two. I do a lot of slapping/strumming, mainly in the metal/funk genre and the action and feel of the neck is perfect for this style of playing. It may be more about looks but the "Barolo" color (Barolo is an Italian wine) and maple neck/ebony fretboard are worth the extra cost in my opinion. Playing this bass is truly an enjoyable experience!!
