The StingRay 5 with dual humbuckers and an improved neck.

Get deep and dirty with this awesome design. Instead of the traditional single humbucker, this StingRay is armed with 2 of the massive MusicMan pickups with hum-canceling phantom coils. It has an active 3-band preamp, and unique 5-way switching (both coils in series mode, single coil, or both coils in parallel mode). Select hardwood body, maple neck, and Schaller tuners. Includes hardshell case.

The roasted maple neck has several performance benefits from its thermally modified microstructure:
Adds dimensional stability and resistance to temperature and humidity changes
Increases resistance to warping
Reduces density while maintaining stiffness for a lighter neck with sufficient strength
Yields a microstructure similar to naturally aged woods with lower moisture content
More resonance and less damping
Eliminates the need for hazardous chemical treatments
Vibrational testing indicates that roasted maple exhibits clearer tone with a stronger fundamental than untreated maple samples
