i bought this bass 3 weeks.this is very,very good bass for it's price range.construction is solid,feels good while plaiyng.although pick ups are not high quality and expensive,it sounds cool.i use it for recording and it is does its job very good.i recommend it for beginners,home recoding,practicing and small venues.

I've been playing bass for 25 years or more. I needed a cheap bass to leave at the band's jam shack instead of leaving my expensive basses. I looked at everything I could find in this price range. I read all reviews and this one stood out as the best in that price range. I'm super happy with this purchase. It played great out of the box but I set it up to my specs and BAM, I have a really cool bass for cheap. The pickup is good. I figured I'd have to change it but I'm leaving it stock. The pots are mini's but work fine. Green chiclet cap. I'll replace the electronics as needed. Hopefully not anytime soon. Tuners are solid. 3 piece plank body, heavier than I thought but not too heavy. Even the stock strings weren't bad. Awesome sustain with the 6 bolt extended neck and high mass bridge. I got the see thru brown satin. Beautiful. The extended neck between the fretboard and pickup is brown, not black like in the pictures. The headstock is also brown not black. The very tip of my headstock has a small crack but is easily repairable. Do not hesitate to buy this bass. Whether you are a seasoned pro looking for a good cheap one or a student looking for a good cheap easy playing bass, this is a great deal. More bass than I had hoped. Gigbag, truss rod tool and bridge tool included. I'm very well pleased.

In my opinion, this is definatly one of the best basses for beginners, experianced, whoever. I had been told that ESP was a great brand to use due to their durability and great feel and im so glad i took their word for it. Its a great bass and i will continue using ESP models in the future.

Great bass to play. Looks great and has a simple design, that looks very nice. Sound is nice.
Just had to raise the strings a little to get rid of the fret buzz. I think if you get this bass professionally set up, it will be a fantastic instrument.

Beautiful bass guitar. Simple design and easy to play. Pretty good tone.
Perhaps it got damaged when it was shipped though. Really bad fret buzz on the first fret of all four strings that rendered those frets unplayable.

I tried this out just noodling around in my loval music store and I have to say it was really suprising for the price. I like the pickups and it has a fast neck. The best bass in this price range, in my opinion

The price tag is a lie. MY girlfriend got me this bass for my birthday and i have had but one complaint. The neck buzzes a bit but im sure it can be fixed. Its got an esp brand split single coil passive which is actually pretty decent. It wouldnt hurt to put an emg hz in it but it also wouldnt hurt not to. Its got a pretty warm tone but it gets punchy with some ernie balls. Ive played every brand ever and to be completly honest this is pretty up there. Even with the high end ltds. Id recomend this to any beginner or experienced players on a budget.
