The EC-104 isn't a wild and crazy bass, but a simple and elegant model made and priced for anyone looking to get into playing bass guitar. It's thin "U" contoured neck and cutaway on the lower horn area makes it easy to access all of the 22 extra jumbo frets. It sports dual ESP SB-4 pickups and an ESP ABQ-2 2-band active EQ to capture your fingerwork. It has a 40mm standard nut, ESP tuners, chrome hardware, and an ESP DB-4 bridge to keep your strings in line.

This was my first bass. When I first got it, I wasn't impressed, but after I gained some experience, and I look back on it, I loved this bass. It has a very versatile rang of sounds. But as expected from ESP, its a hardcore/metal bass. I did play some blues with it in a gig once, and it performed great! A definite good buy, for beginners and even a pro(open minded pro)

it cant be said enough about ESP, AMAZING. truely a work of art, directed for the player. Ive played everything, from MusicMan to Fender, Fernandez to Ibanez. All basses have there place, but no matter what i always get brought back to ESP. out of the box, i had it set up with 135 guage strings, i play in Drop B. it sounds beautiful. by far the fastest playing bass I have ever owned. old time player to beginer, this bass can be enjoyed!
