The 4-string ESP LTD Surveyor-414 Electric Bass offers bolt-on neck construction for added attack and snap. The neck's U-contour makes for quick and easy access to all of the Surveyor bass's 21 extra-jumbo frets.

Bold, responsive sound comes courtesy of EMG active pickups and 3-band EQ, along with coil tap mini-switch for brighter single-coil tones from the bridge pickup. With its breathtaking swamp ash body, maple neck, chrome hardware, and sleek black pickups, the ESP LTD Surveyor-414 bass keeps you playing into the late hours with sonic control and visual brilliance.

Man, this bass has character. EXCELLENT neck and string spacing. I find it difficult to find a versatile bass. a TRULY versatile bass. It can pop and pick, but still give mega thump. That's just active eq for ya.
