Comments about ESP Vintage-4 Bass Guitar:
I walked into a local music store and was just browsing, when I came across the usual fender jazz and precision basses. I went on to pick up an american jazz re-issue, when a friend of mine who works there said, "you don't want to play that." So I asked him why, and he just said try this one out over here. It was the ESP Vintage Four. When I saw that it was an ESP, I said to myself, "ESP? Yea right. They only make Metal guitars." So I humored myself and picked it up. Immediately I knew this just wasn't your average guitar. I played it a immediately I fell in love with it. Since I've been playing music, I've never played a bass that felt and sounded this good. I couldn't believe it. The sound, the infinite sustain that it produced, the J and P pickups are incredible, and the neck. Oh the neck! It was like running your hand over the smoothest glass. The body looked like it's been sitting at the bottom of a lake for years, which again sold me. It was truly a vintage guitar. So I wound up and bought the guitar right there. I haven't looked back since. This guitar has been probably the best investment I've ever ventured with, and I will have it for the rest of my life. Best Bass ever!
