I have had this bass for about 4 years. It is the best all around bass. I have been a musician since I was 8 (now 25) and have played countless live shows and have done numerous studio recordings. In every situation I have been in, people comment on how great my tone is. Sure, you can spend several thousands on some boutique brand, but everything is always compared to a Fender. So, I bought the Fender. In no way am I disappointed. It has an awesome neck and body profile. The feel of this instrument far surpasses any others. Take my word, Just buy it. I won't play anything else.
I own a Fender jazz bass 5 string and it is great. Incredible ound and great range. Expessialy good looks and very comfortable. It definetly met my expectations.
I bought this model 1 year ago and have no complaints whatsoever. It has a great tone, feel and sound. Once I bought it, I never looked back. Whether you're a finger player, a slapper, or use a pick the sound is great. For maximum results, use through an SVT-3PRO or an SVT Classic any kind and you'll totally agree. Have a good time.
I have played a lot of basses and this is unmatched by any. Sure there are some that are better in certain areas. But if you the best of the basics then this is it. Slap, finger or pick style it all sounds good on this bass.
Buy this Bass, you will never have another case of GAS/BAS. My instrument arrived in FLAWLESS condition, not a ding, scratch, blem, blur etc. Set-up excellent direct from the factory. I will never need to buy another Bass.
I spent all of my high school graduation money on this bass but it was worth it. It's easily the most comfortable bass I've ever played. It sounds really great too. I'm amazed that more people don't pick up five-string fender basses because they are amazing. You won't be disappointed.
I've owned this bass for about a year now and it is still a great bass. I've had basses crap on me after a coulpe months. It plays extremely well and it has a great fret board and action. I have a Fender Rumble 100 amp and together it sounds like heaven, very deep and smooth sounding.
This American made Jazz Bass V is flawless. You definitely get what you pay for when you go with the American models. The workmanship is superior when compared to the Mexican made models, if only to the naked eye. I may have gotten the last one with the in-line five tuners. As a 30 year vet, I highly recommend any American made Fender for all levels.
One of the nicest basses I have played in 30 yaers of playing, if not the nicest.
Always dependable, great sound, unique red color looks great on stage. i have received many good comments about this bass... i'll keep it forever!!
