The CB-100CE Bass is an affordable dreadnought cutaway acoustic bass with pro features, including a resonant spruce top with scalloped X bracing and mother-of-pearl acrylic rosette, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck with Jazz Bass® profile and dual-action truss rod, rosewood bridge with compensated saddle, and Fishman® Isys III pickup/preamp system with built-in tuner.

    I bought this bass because of the advertised nut width of 2.125". This is a bit of false advertising and it is actually only 1 11/16 like nearly all other acoustic basses. I would have never bought it had I known that. It turns out that it is a pretty nice bass for the price.

    Like nearly all acoustic basses it is too quite to play in most cases with other instruments unamplified.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I Love Fender..but for a small woman, the neck is way too long for me to play comfortably and I had to send it back. I will always play Fenders cause they are made really well.
