Comments about Fender Kingman Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:

Got this for Christmas, was worried about the "Made in China" tag. I wouldn't have bought this bass. I would have missed out on an awesome, nice playing bass. Put on Fender nylon wound strings and it sounds great. Flawless finish, I'm proud to add this bass to my collection. I have adjusted the neck twice. I play 2 shows a week.

Comments about Fender Kingman Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:

Let's face it, most of these acoustic electric basses sound terrible. No projection, and no tone at all.

Except this one. I like that I can just pick it up and start to play, but if you're in a group with more than one other instrument you'll have to amplify it.

Yes, it's neck heavy, but use a leather strap and it's not too bad.

I like the feel of the Jazz Bass neck, always have. And the Fishman pre-amp works like a charm. It's the only acoustic bass I've played that sounds the same both plugged and unplugged. Just right for an acoustic set, coffee-house or church setting.

My only real negative is there's no place to rest my right thumb. On an electric there's usually a pickup or thumb rest, so I'm still getting used to that.

No complaints about the construction or finish of this instrument, and the sound beats others that cost more.

Comments about Fender Kingman Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:

I love this bass, It doesn't feel like the "cheap" acoustic basses out there. You can tell you are holding a Fender. The electronics sound wonderful and the tuner is very handy for tuning on the fly. If you are in the market this is a great choice!

Needed a little work when I recieved it but after a set up and putting on different strings it sounds good.
If you play with anyone you will need an amp.

The neck plays just like my old Fender Jazz Bass. It has a good, fat sound without amplification. Lots of fun to play.

Comments about Fender Kingman Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:

I received this bass at Christmas and it is great. I had wanted an acoustic bass for a while just to be more versatile, and it was a good pick. I'm partial to Fender bass equipment after I got my P bass, and this was up to its standards. Would recommend to anyone looking into expanding their sound.

Comments about Fender Kingman Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:

I play a precision in my band, and I wanted an acoustic with the same feel. The kingman neck is almost the same as my precision. Very accurite all the way up the neck. No off notes.

                Great sound and action

Comments about Fender Kingman Acoustic-Electric Bass Guitar:

I give this bass very high marks. Great tone (plugged in or not); good quality; great price.
I have to admit that when the box came and it said "made in china" I was very skepical, to say the least. But I took it out of the box, looked at it, and thought "the craftsmanship looks very good". Played it and the tone was really good, with action to match. Could not wait to plug it in and when I did OMG the tone was sweet and I loved it. Have read some of the reviews that say it is neck heavy. It has the body of a regular guitar and the neck of an electric bass. Get over it. I have an SG, talk about neck heavy. Just expect it and go with the flow Joe. I am relatively new to the bass, playing about a year, but I always wanted an acoustic-electric and this one fills the bill. The quality is really surprising for the price and the sound is great. Would recommend it to anyone interested in a good quality bass at a reasonable price that also sounds good plugged in. Very happy with this bass.
Gave it a 9 only because quality can alway be better on most instruments. But I was surprised and very happy with the quality of this instrument.
Great value for the price. Was delightfully surprised.
