Comments about Fender T-Bucket Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Bass:

A fellow in Nashville persuaded me to buy this bass a year or so ago even though I didn't really need it. I've since begun to appreciate its feel and nice woody tone more and more, now to the point that I pull it out instead of my Kingman. Mainly run it straight through a Yamaha mixer and the tone is perfect for acoustic music settings. Fender did a good job on this bass in spite of its laminate wood construction. Excellent sound and balance, and a lively feel with no dead frets. Don't expect a lot of volume acoustically from the T-Bucket, even though it is as good or better than other ABG's. Glad I got talked into this.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Bass:

I bought a Ibanez AEB10 after reading all the great reviews and was let down bad. Tried it against a friends Fender and decided to try this model for yucks. Not only was I surprised but was blown away when plugged in. I never have like acoustic basses and felt they all lack substance.. until now. Like all acoustic basses unplugged, it is ok. Plugged in it is absolutely amazing. I don't care if it is laminated. To sound this good my electric basses are being used a lot less. I can't say enough good about this bass. A winner, a keeper. Came set up perfect (I am a guitar tech 35 years). The sound and easy short scale make long night gigs easier, also smaller size requires no feedback buster. You won't regret this bass plugged in. If you only play unplugged.. look elsewhere.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Bass:

Our band used an Ibanez AEB5 before this and the T-Bucket is certainly a huge step up and a fabulous bass for the price. We love the rich deep sound and the fast action, and since our lead singer and bass player is fairly small, she loves the smaller body on the t-bucket. It's a joy to play and to look at. We haven't been able to find a hard shell case that fits it though.
