Comments about Gibson 2013 Les Paul Electric Bass:

Overall I like this bass. The fit and finish is very well done except for one thing and that is the Grover tuners were installed crooked. Not sure how this got passed quality control and it really doesn't affect the playing or playability but it does seem odd to look at. Also, not sure what the deal with the "Plek" system is because most of the Gibsons' I have recently purchased new badly need to be set up including this bass. The action was very high. I thought the "Plek" system was to dial in nut height and fret height to improve playability and action?? But other than those two issues the bass is well built, finish is applied superbly and sounds very nice. If not for those two small issues I would have given this bass a five star rating.
