Comments about Gretsch Guitars G2210 Electromatic Junior Jet Electric Bass Guitar:

I rated it 3 stars, b/c Musician's Friend calls that Average. The feel is great, I really like the neck. I wanted to get into a short scale neck, and there aren't really many options out there. This bass looks and feels great. The tuners are a little bit of a pain, the nut is awful and I'll replace that. The pots work fine, but one is difficult to turn compared with the other one. If you look in the right light, you'll see some finish defects. But seriously, look at the price. It's worth that.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G2210 Electromatic Junior Jet Electric Bass Guitar:

I helped select the Gretsch G2210 short scale bass for my wife, but as an experienced guitarist, I've been inspired by it's tone and ease of use to learn the bass as well. Even though it only has 1 humbucker, the tone range is good enough for me to record with. It seems to be a few notches up in quality above anything else even close to it's price range (higher or lower). It is very comfy for my petite wife too. The tail piece is very close to the end of the body, so as a guitarist, the "open" position on the neck is very similar to a guitar. We have had it for a few years now, so cosmetically different, but gorgeous!

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G2210 Electromatic Junior Jet Electric Bass Guitar:

Over all this is a 10! For what I use it for anyway. I'm a guitar player and I use this Bass for recording and it really punches through the mix. It has great bottom for a light weight no frills Bass! I would recomend it at least for recording. I don't know how it will hold up gigging though.
I give this a 10 on features! Because what else do you need with only one mini humbucker? One volume, one tone controls.
It's built pretty sturdy. It holds up to what I use it for.
Definitely a great value when I picked it up over 10 years ago! It was 100 bucks less! LOL!
