A custom-shop quality bass that delivers deep, ringing, organ-like bass sounds.
Made just for us, this Hamer 12-String Standard bass features a 4A quilted maple top. You would be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful wood anywhere, let alone on this amazing bass guitar. Contrasted by an ebony fingerboard with 10 Victory inlays and Ivoroid plus 3-ply anniversary binding, the Standard 12-String qualifies as fine art in our opinion. But this is also a piece of art that is meant to be played.
Four 3-string sets are each tuned root/octave/octave. It's hard to imagine a more full and rich sound than the tones this electric bass produces. The depth of the standard range bass strings is a rock solid foundation for the chorus of sound that sings out from the octave strings.
Two EMG-35P humbuckers are the perfect pickups for the Hamer 12-String. The 35P design has two offset coils that result in more low end with brilliant highs. It uses short, squat coils that have very little resistance and plenty of inductance. Ceramic magnets are used to add clarity. The 35P has a natural presence, powerful lows, punchy midrange, and superior definition. This pickup uses a 35 Extended housing that is 3.5 inches (89mm).
A Split "V" headstock, Tortoise finish, and chrome hardware are perfect finishing touches to the totally unique Hamer 12-String Bass.

I bought this bass to play in my bluegrass group, "Silly Hillbilly" it's okay, but it lacks a lot of the features that I need for my music style. As such, I've gone back to my single-string tub-bass. I'd suggest buying this if you're into Punjabi or something.
