An incredible bass for an equally incredible low price!
The vivacious curves and look of the figured maple top on this 6-string Ibanez bass guitar make it work of art, but it's the neck through construction, mahogany body, 35"-scale neck, and Bartolini pickups and active EQ that make it a sonic masterpiece. It delivers the fattest low end and articulately expresses the lightest notes in your fastest runs. For the money, it doesn't get much cleaner sounding, or hotter looking, than an Ibanez BTB576FM.

im gonna make this quick...First of all the neck is amazing, the body stands out from most 6 strings, the pickups sound great, the Active EQ is a God Send, it stays in tune, it can take a beating, it gives nice fat lows and tight highs..seriously to me this the Perfect 6 string. Ibanez overdid themselves this time
THis is an awesome bass. I own several high end basses and the BTB line is one of my favorites. This bass offers a warm tone amazing feel and surprisingly fast action. Its very well balanced so your back wont strain as much, and the active EQ provides great response for a wide array of styles.
I recently purchased this bass, and I could not be happier. It is a boutique bass without the boutique price tag. The tone is unreal. The action was perfect right out of the box. My drummer forces me to play it, even though he really doesn't have to. True, it does take two 9 volt batteries, but this is a small price to pay. Bang for the buck, this is an awesome bass.
This is one of the finest bass guitars I have ever played for the amount that I had paid for it. I got mine about 5 months ago, and it blows all of my previous basses out of the water. The Monorail Bridge is fantastic, and restringing it is a breeze. Neck through design makes it resonate like a dream, and the Bartolini MK II-6 is a marvel of modern design, accentuating the highs, the lows and all betwixt. I've played many other basses in this price range (Dean, Ibanez SGR, Yamaha, etc), but this is by far the best value for the amount you pay. The only draw back is that it takes 2 9V batteries.
