The BTB676 bass is made with a solid light ash body topped with walnut. A strong 5-piece maple and bubinga thru-neck gives the BTB more resonance and a stronger, more dedicated tone. Exaggerated cutaways allow unrestricted access to the upper frets, and a U shaped neck profile provides comfort for your fretting hand.
The 35" neck scale provides superior articulation, which is ideal for low tunings, and Bartolini MK-2 pickups deliver a balanced tone and plenty of sizzle. Die-cast tuners, cosmo black hardware, and a flat finish round out the Ibanez BTB676 6-string electric bass' features—truly a work of art.

I don't regret buying this bass at all, and I don't see myself ever selling it. At this price point, this thing is a bang for the buck.
It took me time to fall in love this instrument. Initially i really hated it...until i spent quality time with it. I will be getting an empress para eq pedal to correct the mids a bit. You can't go wrong with this instrument.

I have spent so much time with this instrument and I have to say I've never been more in love with a bass. The second I took it out of the box (having never played a six string before) I was hooked. It's easy for me to blow eight hours of my day just practicing because it is so intuitive and natural feeling. The neck is thin and inviting and the tone warm and silvery. The amber finish is GORGEOUS, and I absolutely love everything about it.
This beast is great for tapping, slapping, and whatever else you want to throw at it!
It's got functionality, playability, a jaw-dropping finish, and a gorgeous tone.
