Comments about Ibanez BTB676M 6-String Electric Bass:
Ok so its being a couple of months since i got this bass, i got around early July this summer, it blew my mind how beautiful looks, it looks better in person, i have a Hartke A100 combo amp, i get a nice solid warm bass sound or crank up the treble and get that crunchy sound , but the problem with this bass is that after 1 month of owning it the 2 knobs were starting to get loose , so i went to my local guitar shop and they were kind enough to fix it for free.. BUT! one major problem is that from the 12th fret and below the frets are uneven (thats what they told me at my local guitar shop) and i would have to pay to fix that problem , it doesn't really affects my playing when i use my fingers but when i play an arpeggio or do some tapping it sounds like uummm weak sound even when i have my bass guitar volume turned all the way and my amp up to 6 and it sounds weak when i do the tapping on the 12th fret and below, at first i thought it was the truss rod but when i went to the local guitar shop , it was frets that were uneven , the guy at the guitar shop told me it was a slight problem, and thats what happens when you buy something online , but i didnt have so much problems with my Schecter omen extreme 5 and its a low-mid range bass guitar, im really disappointed on Ibanez , i should have bought a Warwick Rockbass corvette 6 string or a Schecter , but oh well this was my beautiful mistake, and i would give it 5 stars but since all the problems i had it with it i give it 3 , or maybe I got bad luck , so if you buy any Ibanez Bass guitar BECAREFUL! and READY!! to pay for anything thats wrong or misfunction. ohh and the bartolini pick ups are awesome and great! dont worry if they're not EMG or Seymour , Bartolini are awesome too!
