Celebrating a bass that has become a classic.
2007 marks a major milestone: the 20th Anniversary of the revolutionary Soundgear bass. Premium woods, Prestige thru-necks, and Bartolini electronics provide the Japanese-made SR20TH4 and other Prestige Soundgear basses with even more sophistication and versatility than the famous originals. But the Soundgear design philosophy is exactly the same as it was two decades ago: a modern electric bass for players who want a thin, fast neck and the ability to dial in any tone for any genre from complex electric jazz to raging black metal.

I just got the SR20th 5 string and it is the best bass I have ever played. The Custom Bartolinis can get you almost any frequency you need to be heard in your band. I have played top of the line Fenders, Musicman, Warwick, Tobias and nothing comes close to the SR20th. The strings have such a nice pop and the gold hardware is a definate plus and for the price this is a steal.
I bought this bass a couple months ago and it is by far the best bass I have ever played. The tone is phenomenal, the body is lightweight, the neck is thin and extraordinarily comforatable, and it's sexy as hell. What else could you want from a bass?
i usually play a USA fender p-bass without active pickups. the ibanez SR Prestige SR20TH4 20TH anniversary limited edition. just heavy enough. pickups are sweet. bottom line..if u want your live sound , like studio sound, this is your bass!!
