Features:

Has features found on basses costing twice as much

Quality:

The only negatives I can see are the finish and high string response, but neither is that biga deal

Value:

Best bass under 400$ I have ever played. The positives easily outweigh the negatives

Overall:

I highly recommend this bass for people on a tight budget.

very good buy

Features:

Pots work just as good as on more expensive models P/Up's are good quality although  a little weak on the high strings ,I think thats just a matter of getting them dialed in. Neck action is impressive and neck is strong. Body is thin and super light, while finish is a little lacking, its not an issue when you look at the price and overall quality.

Quality:

Overall quality easily rivals some basses costing twice as much.

Value:

I have played a lot of instruments in the last thirty yrs. and my new Ibanez bass is one of the best buys I have ever came across

Overall:

For a lefty bass under 400$ you can't go wrong. Its light on the shoulder, the balance is great, action is great, and although the finish is not high end and there is only one color choice, I would recommend this instrument to anyone with a tight budget. I have been using it on stage and so far it has done a great job.

Great pick ups  which give you a variety of different tones. From thrash metal to jazz and funk .

Quality:

Great quality. Strong and reliable matireals.

Value:

For left handed basses this is the best out there.

Overall:

This is my second bass. I upgraded from the SR 200L about a year ago and have no complains. I can play for hours and not feel it. It has easy and great playability. Light body with a beutifull shape makes it easy to play and also easy on your shoulders. I love the pick ups and the durability. countless shows and jams and stills looks gorgeous. For left handed basses I have found nothing better in quality and in price than Ibanez basses. I recomend it to everyone who is looking to upgrade from their begginig or any other bass.

Ups and Downs

The sound and tonal variety from this bass is simply amazing. If you want to go from a smooth jazz solo, to a head ripping metal thump, YOU CAN. EQ and tone control are fantastic. Too bad the thing is built to last as long as a paper air plane. The input jack broke on mine in a month. And the action I find is unfixable. It's so difficult to play. I dunno. Find one in a store and feel it up to make sure that part is ok, because the sound is great!
