Japanese craftsmanship perfect for any application from Ibanez.
The SR505SM 5-String electric bass guitar from Ibanez is a solid acquisition and addition to any bass player's arsenal. Standard SR basses offer a wide line-up, from beginner to working pros. From higher-end Bartolini pickups to Ibanez EXF pickups, they are versatile enough to play any kind of music, while SR's signature "Slim & Fast" neck gives you great playability. The 5pc Jatoba/Bubinga neck and rosewood fingerboard are comfortable and smooth allowing quick movement along the neck. The mahogany body with spalted maple top provide both style and function. Mahogany is the ideal wood for basses because it's rigid and dense, creating outstanding lows and low mids. Its Bartolni MK-1 pickups and EQB-IIIS 3-band EQ w/ mid frequency switch give you complete control over your sound so you can dial it in just right.
