    Fits my requirements well

    Features:

    I was after a light five string bass, that had a good range of tones, with a good quality build. This bass ticks all the boxes.

    This comes with

    * Active amp

    * Three band EQ

    * Tone balance between neck and bridge pickups.

    * Bartolini Mk1 pickups

    * Nice 'toney' woods for the neck

    * Light weight

    * Compact size

    When I get my compact amp that fits in my gig bag, I will be able to turn up for rehearsal with the amp and guitar in one hand, and my Markbass speaker in the other.

    Quality:

    This is not your 2,000 or 3,000 guitar, but it does what it does well for the price.  Finish is flawless, the back cavity cover did not fit perfectly, but this was a 'used' bargain, so I'm not complaining.  This instrument works perfectly for what I am after.

    Value:

    Great price for the features.  Nice 'woody' neck and body, for a good sound. Bartolini pickups.  Finish is good.  Machine heads work fine.  It's not a top of the line bass, but then I paid a lot less for it, and it still sounds great.

    Overall:

    Nice and light.  So many five stringers are very heavy, and they 'dip' because the headstock is over sized for looks.  This is a nice minimalist bass, and is perfect for use at rehearsals, where you want convenience, or gigs, where you don't want to collapse under the weight.  I still love my other basses, but it's good to have the choice.

    Really Nice Bass for the money

    Features:

    Love the features on this bass.  The different EQs, switches, toggle really let you fine tune your tone one top of the way you have your amp setup.   The sleek design is really sweet.  The see thru black finish is even nicer in person, I've had many compliements on how sweet this bass looks.

    Quality:

    This is my first 5 string Ibanez, but everything appears great.  Will let you know how it stands up over time.

    Value:

    I thought it was a good bass for the money.

    Overall:

    This is my first 5 string, so it took some "getting used to" but once I did, I love it.  It is smooth and has a definite tone difference from the bass I had before.  It is a joy to play.  The volume knob was surprisingly loose, but nothing I couldn't fix.  I love the battery "hatch" on the back for the active pickups, so you don't have to remove screws and plates to change the battery.  This will be my main workhorse for church services.  Highly reccommend it.

    Ibanez SR705

    Features:

    Ibanez bass,Bartolini pick ups, and over 6 different types of wood says it all..

    Quality:

    Playing on this instrument is really easy and effortless.. you can really tell the difference when you play it. I had an Ibanez Sr506 but really didn't get to dig the 6th string so I wanted to try with 5 strings and Im so glad I did.

    Value:

    The price is not too high but is not very cheap either but trust me the quality of this instrument is top notch. I really don't thinks there is a huge gap between this and a profesional bass.

    Overall:

    Awesome product

    Incredible Design
