Blends traditional virtues with modern refinements.
The Jackson CMG Concert Bass Guitar has an alder body with a bolt-on maple neck. It is equipped with EMG pickups and an active BEQ3 preamp for vast control of tone. The rosewood neck is especially easy to play with a compound radius of 12" to 14". It also features die-cast mini tuners, black hardware, shark fin inlays, and 22 jumbo frets.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better bass!
Order the Jackson CMG now and play your next gig with confidence.

Comments about Jackson CMG Concert Bass w/ EMGs:
Just an awesome looking and playing bass that will last you a lifetime if you are willing to dish out the exra cash.
First I will start with the neck which is the most comfortable I have ever played, even more so than my MTD. The compound radius neck feels incredible with low action and no fret buzz. The EQ is adequate and versitle. I could easily get a tone for every style I through at it, however for the price I feel they could have used one of emg's better eq systems but that being said it still sounds great. Not a big fan of the HZ pickups but they are ok. Again for the price I would have expected something different. I forgot to say that the electronics are very quiet which I appreciated and this bass is not too heavy nor too light.
Typical Japanese quality which is incredible. Not a flaw on my bass. Tight neck joint, beautiful inlays, and a sweet white binding all done to perfection. You can really see and feel the expert craftsmanship that went into producing this bass.
This is the real issue with this bass. this is a hefty price tag which could have been justified if the electronics were more highend IMO. But... what you do get in build quality makes up for it a tad.
