Sweet looks and highly shapeable sound for pro bassists.
This Quantum Q5 electric bass is a 5-string beauty that features a gorgeous figured bubinga wood top. The Q5 bass's lightweight, ultra-rigid, D-shaped shell is made from dozens of layers of hand-formed, aerospace-grade, epoxy-impregnated carbon fibers. With its massive sustain, earthshaking low end, and versatile tone controls, the original Quantum bass neck designed by Modulus has become a popular choice for many of today's top touring professionals. Because of its amazing strength-to-weight ratio and a resonant peak far above the range of the notes on a bass, it is an ideal neck for producing crystal clear, even tones. Because the carbon fiber telegraphs attack more quickly than conventional wood necks, Quantum basses maintain a crisp, warm sound with dynamic sensitivity.

Comments about Modulus Guitars Quantum Q5 5-String Figured Bubinga Electric Bass Guitar:
i have this same bass but in the 6 string version so im guessing its the same bass with an extra string. If so, this is the best bass ive ever owned, my previous bass was a gibson thunderbird and this bass makes the thunderbird look like crap, i highly recommend this bass to people who want to spend this much on a high quality bass. i think that a 6 string is much cooler than the 5 and it doesnt cost that much more.
