I own it and Purchased it in late 2007. After about 6 months the finish on the fretboard started to come off and now the pick ups are bad. Over all not worth the money. cheap neck and pickups. The bass doesn't last a year with active use.
it has a great fast hard rock maple neck that is really easy to play because of it's asymmetrical shape. Nice zero fret. sealed die-cast tuning keys. But positive comments stop right there.I've had so much trouble with the electronics on this bass. Had both the pickup and preamp changed. Noises, crackling, loss of volume, unbalanced tone. Lots of intermittent troubles making it hard to repair. It was also hard finding the tone i wanted probably because of the cheap basswood and pickup positioning. No wonder i sold it to get another Fender.
