I can get the best sound and tone out of this bass and the looks are amazing, this bass beats the heck out of my ibanez sdgr. Im more into numetal bands like limp bizkit, linkin park, hoobastank, korn, slipknot, papa roach, incubus, to name a few, some of those bass players play warwick so i was inspired to play one and i couldn't be more proud the sound is awesome. I plan to purchase a streamer eventually and a five string of some kind next, if only they would make these in green that would be cool. I've watched local bands play around here, the bassists use ibanez's, bc riches, and fenders so when i start playing everyone will finally here what "the sound of wood" means so i can't wait for that. The only things that are drawbacks are they eat up batteries fast and you would need a powerful amp ( mine is 16 watts) but other than that i would recommend this bass to everyone definitely worth the money so if you are thinking about getting one, get one! thanks warwick

Ok...I own the real version of this... The Warwick and this doesn't compare. The difference is HUGE> save up the necessary cash for a Warwick. If you need to stay in this price range just go buy a Music Man S.U.B.

I got this bass about 2 weeks ago. I was a little hesitant at first but went ahead and bought it. I'm glad I did. Great feel, great sound, great value. The strings that came with it weren't all that great, but with an easy replacement with something as simple as some super slinkys made this bass well worth it. Aside from the obvious yet minimal differences between this bass and an actual warwick, you definately cant go wrong with this deal.
The 2nd one was good. 1st one had input plug issues and then electronics quit. Returned for a replacement. Love the 2nd one. Got the blue one. All Warwick Hdwe. Strap Locks too. Adj. nut is a cool feature. Very nice bass and very full deep sound. Get it, at this price you can't go wrong.
I've own many basses of varied value and build quality. This is not a cheap version of a German Wick, it has its own unique voice. I like the tone of single coil pups, Jazz style bass with an alder/maple/rosewood combo. And, the Rockbass fills that bill, plus it has really low action, super straight neck, and good sturdy bridge with 19mm spacing. I replaced the stock strings w/ D'Addario steel flats and all I have to say is WOW. Now all I need is a Fretless, passive one of these and I am set. This could be my main bass.
I always wanted a Warwick and was hesitant to buy the RockBass, but after playing it and spending only half the cash, I felt it was worth it. The blue is beautiful and the bass has a real hard attack. The neck without the fret markers was a plus!
Good value for the price. This bass not only looks good, but has very good tone and is adjustable to any preference you might want for your sound. The only thing that keeps it from being 10 out of 10 stars is the output jack is not quite right and you have to adjust it or else remember to pull the plug back sightly out or it does not make good contact and you willl get no sound. Faovrite feature - it is very lightweight and nicely balanced. Great bass for smaller hands or female musicians.
When i bought this bass i didn't really know what to expect, but once i played it, it sounded excellent. i recommend to any bassist to try this bass out and buy it for this great price. worth the money.
Features: This bass perfectly fits my style of play. It has a small, comfortable and relatively light body, 24 frets, nice, smooth-sounding active MEC J pickups, and unique neck design (very nice) 10/10. Quality: Basically a Warwick Corvette standard made of different wood by different people. 10/10. Value: Relatively inexpensive for such a solid bass. 9/10. Overall: Just about anyone could appreciate this awesome bass. It suits just about any playing style imaginable. Very versatile. 10/10.
Solid & light weight, This bass makes for a great back up or 1st time main axe.
I have this bass and the input jack is a little screwed up, but if you get a different type of nut to keep it in you are good to go forever. This bass is amazing, it has so many different tones and such an attack that it's the perfect bass for slaping.
This bass is easy to play and sounds really good. What ever you do use it on a powerful amp because the pickups are powerful enough to blow the speaker. A few parts fell off. Has great sustain.
