Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Raiden Elite-4 Electric Bass Guitar:
I recommed this bass if your on a budget or just starting out, otherwise get a stingray or a a jazz bass or something
I like having the pickup blend knob, it lets you get some cool versitile sounds. The tone knobs are useless, just turn them up all the way. the emg pickups are great, i would recommend getting a new preamp though.
This is a very well built bass, the maple neck is thin, comfortable, and easy to move around on. if i could change anything it would be the placement of the pickups. the bridge pickup is much to close to the bridge, giving it a tinny, more poppy sound. great if you slap alot i guess. to get a real deep punchy sound while using the bridge pickup you almost always have to play past the neck pickup or over the fret board.
