I was inspired to get this bass by Dan Briggs, the bassist of Between the Buried and Me. It is durable, light, and comes with EMGs. When I first took it out of the box it rattled a bit but its nothing that cant be fixed with a little screwdriver work...
I have this bass(it's my second Spector). Being on a budget I figured that the basses Spector made were good for the price, boy was I wrong. After I sold my 1st Spector I was hoping this one would be a decent bass to practice on and play a show at a local bar here in NYC every now and then. Problem was it was in the shop more than it was strapped on my shoulder. Loads of fret buzz around the 1st and 2nd frets. The truss rod had to be adjusted twice and the action was adjusted twice as well and I only had it less than 1 year!! Spector makes some good basses ...but this is not one of them. You know how the saying goes....you get what you pay for.
