Overall:
the first bass that I really like was this bass before I knew how to play one.I started taking lesson 13 years ago.Back then there were only right basses and no lefties and I really wanted one.i bought a custom made 4 string that has a mockingbird mohagany body and a fender neck a p 1/4 pounder pickup and a fat humbucker as a bridge pickup that I install myself. that bass is fat.then I wanted a 5 string bass that I never found so I bought a used conklyn maple 7 string sidewinder which is beautiful but heavy.I guess that's my story of being a lefty.finely I check this store 8 months ago and i saw that there were going to get a 5 string in june. it came yesterday I took it to church and it plays beautiful.it got this nice clear bass tone that doesn't get muddy.I recorded the band(youtube CCI Brooklyn-mi buen jesus).its light the only thing I got to get use is that the neck swings out and where i used to find low f its low g and my picking finger wonders to the bridge other then that its light comfortable. and easy to carry around.
