A custom white version of the popular Ray34 bass!
The Sterling by Music Man Ray34 Custom bass guitar takes all the popular features of the affordable Ray34 and decks them out in a custom white finish. Its swamp ash body creates percussive lows, subtle mids, and expansive highs, along with the nuances and clarity that Music Man basses are renowned for. A single Music Man humbucker with alnico pole pieces combined with the Music Man-designed Sterling active 3-band preamp gives you all the tonal combinations and signature warmth you could ever need.
The six-bolt neck joint is strong and stable, with no shift in the neck pocket for superior tone transfer. Thick saddles in the bridge make for precise adjustments and tuning stability. Precise slotting on each saddle guarantees no sideways movement of the strings, something heavier players will definitely appreciate!
Basses from Sterling by Music Man are perfect for players seeking the Music Man vibe at a more affordable price. This instrument is an accurate version of the popular Music Man bass with no compromise on quality or materials. Sterling by Music Man pledges to make an instrument that will deliver the performance you need. Each instrument is inspected, setup and played before shipment.

I've played Fender P-Basses, Schecter Studio 4's, Gibson T-Birds and this is by far the BEST BASS I've owned in 25 yrs!!!! Weight, Tone, looks, playability, and cost makes this bass simply THE BEST!!! If you don't have one.....BUY ONE NOW!!!! Forget about the high-end StingRays, buy this and you Won't regret it!!!
these basses have the same feel ans the music man sting ray the sound exactly like the music man but half the price there a very versatile bass finger picking you should have your lows half way and the mids and highs a bit higher than the lows for more punch and if your useing a pic have your lows way higher than your mids and highs to have a better attack sound and eliminate the ping sound out of your over all mix
Just as good as your MM bass. It is snappy, versitile, and perfect for any type of playing. The band I am in plays funk, hard rock, and ska and this bass handles them all like it is nothing. The only difference is the cost. Amazing bass, definitely buy it if you are looking for a great bass but don't want to shell out the $1,300 for the MM
