I don't own this particular Traben bass, but I own a Traben Era 4 string. Finally, a company who gets it! The action is so low an comfortable on these basses, yet without any buzzing or humming. The atonement is phenominal! I can get an EASY 20-30 second sustain holding a note for the lnigering effect. The tone is wonderful. I don't know how they do it, but Traben is hands down one of the best basses out there. I plan to buy this one this summer!!!!
I've been playing rock and metal for about 10 years. I play bass in my band now and needed a good bass for a low price. I saw this and decided to try it out. I was amazed at the tone I can get with this thing. I've had problems with the knobs falling off, but that's an easy fix. If you can afford the Core 5 series, get it. If you need something cheaper, definately get this bass. Traben Rocks!
