Innovative Traben features with a more traditional-style bridge.
The Traben Neo 4 brings innovative Traben features to a bass with a more traditional appearance. You get modern, in-your-face tone thanks to active 3-band EQ, a graphite-reinforced neck, 2-way adjustable truss rod, and the big Traben Neo bridge which is more vintage-style than the other Traben bridges. Constructed with a basswood body, five-ply maple/walnut bolt-on neck, rosewood fretboard, abalone dot inlays, chrome-plated brass nut, and two soapbar pickups.
Traben's unique philosophy for building electric basses centers around their large bridges for bigger, badder tone. These bigger bridges are designed to have more mass and more bridge-to-body contact for added resonance in the body.

The Traben Neo 4 bass is amazing. From my experience with it, this bass will have a seat in my home right next to my Fender Jazz. The range of tone that this bass produced with my Line 6 Low Down was phenomenal.

When I first got this bass for Christmas, I had never heard of Traben before. Usually when I play instrument, I have at least one gripe with it. Not the case here: the tone is gorgeous, easily punching out meaty lows while having plenty of treble to shred up top. It feels great, having a very thin neck and small body. It reminds me of the much more expensive Music Man in terms of playability. And it plays like a bass four times its price.
Fantastic Instrument (especially considering the price I paid) No Electronics noise at all Played through Ampeg Cabs and through Ibanez Soundwave 35 (which I reccommend for solo practice at home) The scale of tone that I can get out of this bass is insane, you can tweak it to your hearts content. When I received the bass, the action was perfectly set-up and belive it or not in tune as well! The only thing I would change is the strings that it was fitted with from the factory (GHS), but other than that... flawless.Been playing for 10 years, own a Peavy Fury (which is insanely inferior to the Traben) If the Neo were lost I would cry and buy a new one, if it were stolen I would hunt down the theif and kick his ass. The sound and playability of this bass is astonishing and the looks are fantastic, taking the dual cutaway design and adding the modern twist by curving the horn and the point at the back, combined with the musicman style circular pickguard is just a great look. I played this bass against the Ibanez BTB series, the Tune TWB 43 (which I would stil buy, it only lost on price) and a few Washburn Neck-Thru's
