Neck-through resonance in an acclaimed design.

One of the most common requests that Warwick receives is for a neck-through Corvette bass. Instead of just making the Corvette Standard into a neck-through, Warwick wanted to create something special. So, they combined a bubinga body with a maple/ekanga neck and a wenge fingerboard, then added the wildly popular $$ (Double Buck) pickups and electronics, resulting in a phenomenal bass that has stunningly good looks and unmatched tone.

      beautiful relationship

      By jeff sutherland

Comments about Warwick Corvette $ Double Buck Neck-Thru Bass:

The features, quality, and value of this bass match the reputation Warwick has built over the years. I'm elated to own and use it. I'm impressed by the versatility of tone, but even more so by ease of making adjustments to the action. Also, the feel of this bass in my hands and against my body is amazing. It fits me like a puzzle piece. The only improvement I can think of would be to make it a 3 band eq. Maybe that's getting picky, but... Otherwise, take it out of the box, change the strings to something you like, and let this beautiful relationship begin!
      As expected. Pleasing.
Untouchable as far as I can tell. A beautiful piece of work.
I'll even include the lengthy time it took between order and delivery and still say I'm satisfied.

      A weekend warriors dream

Comments about Warwick Corvette $ Double Buck Neck-Thru Bass:

Overall this is an amazing bass. I have a 2009 model with a swamp ash body. The best thing about this bass is the versatility. By using the passive/active switch and the coil selectors I can conjure up almost any tone I want. This bass is my main axe and I use it to play everything from bluegrass to hardcore music. With a few quick adjustments I can go from a warm round sound to a punchy in your face sound. Also this bass has a ton of features for making setup a breeze. The adjustable nutt makes getting the right action so much easier. On top of all this the build quality is amazing. Warwick didn't cut any corners. The only major complaints I have about the bass is that it only has a two band eq. I like to run my amp as close to flat a possible and use my bass to get the majority of my tone. It can become a bit frustrating not being able to boost the mids using the preamp on the bass. Also while the bass has good sustain I also wish it was strung through the body. Mostly this is just a personal preference of mine. Altough I would strongly recomend this bass to anyone. It is a great by for the working musician. It can be extremely versitale and crossover many genres. I can say with confidence that I have never played a bass that outdoes it.
