Without question, this is the best bass I have ever laid my hands on. I got mine in Germany a year ago. I can dial the tone to where it has the same punch and clarity of using a pick when played with my fingers. The only thing is the maintanence, without wax, the wood tends to look dull.
Loved the amazing sound! Wow!
I have a '92, so a tad better than the stuff they tend to knock out these days. Actually I should mention I had the neck re-shot as it was slightly out. I have the fretless version, MEC etc. It is actually quite heavy like most warwicks. I wouldn't buy another new warwick these days as the price is crazy and you can do better at any custom luthier really.
