Comments about Warwick German Thumb Bolt-On Electric Bass:

These things are tonal tanks!!! I have a 2011 5 stringer that looks and sounds as new the day I bought it. I cannot replicate the tone these basses provide on any other bass. Its because of the tonewoods, electrics and solid build. A big thanks to musiciansfriend for always taking care of me as a customer, for they go above and beyond customer service. Thise was an open box instrument that bad ZERO blems or defects of anykind, and I got a hefty discount because.... im not sure why. Buy one! And play for a lifetime.

Comments about Warwick German Thumb Bolt-On Electric Bass:

I've owned the Thumb Bolt-on 5 string for 9 years and have loved it the entire time. I've played Pedulla's, high end Fenders, Yamaha, Ibanez, Peavey, G&L, and MusicMan, but have never found anything that would make me give up my Warwick. It's tonal pallette and range make it suitable for just about any type of music and it has an incredibly clear and warm sound with amazing low end out of the 5th string that you don't normally find. I've used this bass for touring and recording over the past 9 years and it's been able to handle any situation. Every sound engineer I've worked with in the studio always remarks about the great sound in puts out. The attack is great - nice and sharp and clear. One sound engineer told me, "it has the clearest attack I've ever seen(looking at the sound graph) out of a bass." The ergonomically designed fretboard is a breeze to play and allows for fast, easy playing. At first, it will seem a little thick, but, it's actually more comfortable on your hand than most thinner necked basses. Overall, I've loved this bass and I've been touring and recording for 9 years. This is one bass you'll never regret owning and will be one that you'll find it hard to replace. I don't know if I'll ever buy another bass.
