Comments about Warwick Rock Bass Corvette Basic Passive 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:
I've had one of these for almost 4 years. When you get this have someone set up both ends of the neck. The strings on mine are less than 1/8 inch from the top of the frets the entire 24 fret length - meaning my left hand never gets tired. I also had the strings set in a curve to match the fingerboard. When you get it, don't just play through a 4 X 10 cab. You gotta hear this through a 2 X 15. This bass will churn your tummy when paired through 15s. Yes it's heavy. Big deal. Build a bridge and get over it. Get it. I'm glad I did.

I want to start out by saying i gave this bass a 9 only in the fact that i wish it was a bit higher end, and also a bit neck heavy( just buy a thick strap and youll balance it just fine) With that said im still extremely satisfied and happy. I own a warwick! not many can say that. For this price it cant be considered a cheap cheasy bass its still pricy, and most of the time at this price you know its going to be of good quality.i bought this as a birthday present to myself to own a really good pretty high end bass in honey violin, i wanted to get that traditional warwick natural wood look.I play death metal, black metal, thrash metal. rock , classic rock and guess what, this fits all styles without either being too muddy ,too twangy, or just not having power. My main draw after i bought this was the MEC pickupsi know they are warwicks own brand...but man oh man were they great.everything about this kicks ass.Like i said sounds great feels even better and ...its a warwick cant go wrong there. I want to aim someday to get a warwick amp and see how it growls. Also im not sure what strings this comes with, but they sound really really good.i just like to have something like flatwounds on it to add that low end.I love it buy it i wish i got to advertise for these guys because i cant say enough good about them.
Great pickups, tone knobs let you tweek its really well for great tone. also the just-a-nut III works out well too so when you need to adjust it, it helps out greatly.plus you can use any sort of strap locks since it has the warwick straplock pins already installed, just not the locks themselves.
9 fits this just because its not made with the best wood, still amazing and pretty decently weighted but unlike those heavy as hell german warwicks its a bit lighter, which is both good and bad depending.
All i can say is that its a warwick. So great brand and great playing bass.

I purchased this bass right as they came out in September of last year, and it has become my #1 bass I perform with. My '76 Fender Jazz Bass sadly collects dust because this bass blows it out of the water. Its range and dynamic sound make this bass one of the best I have ever used. And who can beat the price!
Comments about Warwick Rock Bass Corvette Basic Passive 5-String Electric Bass Guitar:
When I bought this bass I was very excited to be owning a Warwick. I had played a few in a few different stores. When I got the bass home it was in dyer need of setup. So far out of tune that the neck was pretty bowed. After tuning it, Setting the just a NUT III, Setting the string height, resetting the truss, resetting everything, getting the intonation right etc etc. It plays great. I was however really disappointed that it seemed to have missing notes and a muddy sounding E string. I played with the pickup height to no avail. A week went by and I was getting steamed...so I bought a set of DR Hi Beams which I play on my Ibanez bass. FINALLY, the quality of sound I was looking for. The Warwick red label strings do not do this bass justice. If you are cosidering this bass and notice what im talking about, tell the store to throw a decent set of strings on for you. Night and Day difference. The tone adjustments are decent. Quality if pretty good, didnt like how the neck meets the body, cheaply cut in my opinion. Easily playable. low action.
