      Warwick

The woods, electronics, and design that has made Warwick basses the choice of professionals.

The Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic Bass Guitar is beautifully made and delivers plenty of that characteristic low growl for which Warwick basses are famous. As with all Warwick basses, the RockBass Corvette is crafted from premium tonewoods throughout: an alder body and a maple neck with ekanga veneer and a rosewood fingerboard.

Passive MEC JJ pickups and 4 control knobs provide great tone and flexible control in the studio and on stage. The highly sensitive dynamic response of the Warwick RockBass Corvette Basic lets you articulate the most gentle of nuances or slap the bass for crisp, fat basslines.

Comments about Warwick Rockbass Corvette Basic Electric Bass Guitar:

My dad bought me this a few years ago and I would say it was worth every penny. It has such a good tone, especially when you slap some Fender Flatwounds on it. The neck and fretboard are very smooth and comfortable to work with for any type of music and technical skill. The only thing I would watch out for is the bridge. The type of bridge that it has is what's called a Floating Bridge. Basically it has little pieces that the strings are set on and when the strings are taken off, the little pieces can come off for management and cleaning purposes. When you do any sort of management to this instrument, **MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT YOU DON'T LOSE ANY OF THE PIECES** Make sure that all pieces are intact when you change strings otherwise you're pretty much screwed. This isn't really a problem with the instrument. It's just something you need to watch out for. Very awesome for all types of music. I play metal primarily but it is very good for classic rock, jazz, and funk.

Comments about Warwick Rockbass Corvette Basic Electric Bass Guitar:

This is a great bass for the money, This bass is lighter than any I have played and the back of the neck is smooth as silk, the tuning keys are great and it stays in tune!!! The almond sunburst is alot better looking in person than in the pictures. Do note that this bass is made in china but it is still a great little bass...

                      Awesome Fricking Bass!

Comments about Warwick Rockbass Corvette Basic Electric Bass Guitar:

Picked up this bass at a local Warwick dealer. After going through many Warwick models (Rockbass and Others), this was the only one that proved itself to be flawless. Shockingly lightweight, great action, and came perfectly set up. The passive electronics even added to the simplicity. I can say that I chose this model over the expensive Warwick Thumb basses, not because money was an issue, but because it actually SOUNDED better. The pickups had the perfect punch and growl needed for metal, with enough versatility needed for other music styles. The tone blows away every Ibanez bass I've ever owned or tried. Will definitely be buying the 5-string version for studio work soon!

Wow! I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on the sound of this bass. It really has a great tone and punch. I just plug it in, turn the pickup and tone knobs to the middle, turn all the amp e.q. knobs to the middle and go. I don't have to spend any time on adjusting things to get the sound I want. It's built right into this bass! A great buy for the money. I've gotten compliments that are better than basses of twice the money. You won't be disappointed with this bass.

Played one of these (Nirvana Black). This is a really nice bass! I play a German Wick and this is it's sister. Quality fit and finish is very good. Would recommend to anyone, beginner to pro.
