The Washburn bass that bears the name of a bona fide bass legend.
Washburn worked side-by-side with a true bass guitar legend to produce the AB40SH Stu Hamm Signature Acoustic Bass. The bass has a fully intonatable bridge, allowing for even intonation throughout the entire fingerboard. It's perfect for those who want tone, playability, and acoustic amplification without the intrusion of feedback.
The acoustic bass features an arched spruce top, arched maple back, maple sides, and a mahogany neck for a full, balanced tone that swells from the oval soundhole and through the custom piezo electronics. The rosewood fretboard, multi-laminate binding, intonatable monorail bridge, and Grover tuners continue the strength in construction not regularly seen in an acoustic-electric bass crossover.
Stuart Hamm has performed and recorded with Steve Vai, Frank Gambale, Joe Satriani and many other well-respected guitarists. It was playing live on tour with Satriani that brought Hamm's bass playing skills to national attention.
Hamm's slapping, popping and two-handed tapping techniques are demonstrated on his solo recordings and instructional videos. A popular part of his live performance often includes a two-handed tapping arrangement of Vince Guaraldi's "Linus and Lucy." Includes case.
Own the signature bass from one of America's great bassists.

Comments about Washburn AB40SH Stu Hamm Acoustic-Electric Bass:
This bass is exactly what I was looking for when I bought it. This bass sounds amazing what ever you put it through. 24 frets and plus all the other specs its just a really good acoustic bass. I don't know what else to say.
