Buy one I loved it and so do my friends. Also I started a band and we sound great with this Washburn . THANKS,We LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it
I had purchased this Bass a couple of years ago in natural Mahogany when it came with a different soft shell case. Anyway several years later still EXCELLENT bass. Put in some Dimarzio PUPs can't beat it. Light weight high quality all around. I went and shielded the control cavity to boot dead quiet bass. Now the AMP. Just purchased in a separate buy a month ago. Folks, you don't know how good a deal this is. This amp is solid void free plywood weighs 20lb is a loud enough 30Watts (I see conflicting ratings on this amp and is only one power size). Anyway a PRO quality amp you can use anywhere even on a gig (Mic'd or as a pre amp/pre amp out to another stack). The CD-Rom lessons if the same as B4, you WILL be playing the bass when you're done unless you have no talent, and no business playing the bass :)-Regards.
This is my first bass but ive been using it for a year. The neck is a good shape and the frets are even. The pickups provide good sound but the screws need to be tightened when it comes out of the box or you will cut your wrists (trust me it happened). There are some problems tho. The frets buzz really easy and the bridge is low quality and and doesn't intonate well. Also the A D and G strings go out of tune quick but the e never goes out of tune.
I have never owned a bass previously but wanted to home record with the opportunity, and this was my choice to purchase. I love the pack. The bass itself is gorgeous, though came very out of tune. Once ready with the tuner included you will have warm, rich sound. The amp is terrific and much more than the ad shows. The video is a great teaching tool and for the value you could not start out better.
This is an excellent starter kit. It is my first ever Bass (or instrument for that matter) and I love it. The T-12 itself is great for what it is and for the price. The strings do buzz, but if have it in tune and press harder onto the frets, it really doesn't do it as much.Where is other packages, people like to say the straps or cors are crap, these ones have lasted me the two weeks I've had it and show no signs of crapping out yet. The gig bag is pretty much useless though, except for transportation, as it has no padding. The amp is an excellent practice or warmup amp for the price. COmpared to other packages it's a home run!If you are looking for a low-price package with excellent quality, this is the one.
This isn't the best quality bass but it, still serves well. It looks nice and plays fine, and the whole package is a good deal. This is a good deal for a beginner especially because it comes with every thing that you would need to get started. My only problem with it is that mine came with a defect. There must have been some thing wrong with the nut (bar right below the head). I just picked the bass up by the neck and part of the nut snaped off, making the E string un-playable. The instuction dvd also came scratched pretty bad. Over all its worth getting, but beware of defects.
