I have been playing bass for 25 years, since high school, and have always been a Fender man. I bought the Gigmaker package as a backup, and to leave at church to play there. I got it, took it out of the box and threw some GHS medium flatwounds on it and have been playing it ever since. The action was great and it feels like a much more expensive bass. I play it so much my P bass is getting lonely!

i got this guitar about a year ago and its really fine. it sounds like a much more expensive guitar. it really packs a wallop. its neck is nice and smooth and you have a spot to rest your finger while you play which is nice. the looks of the guitar is not good but looks aint nothing.

I have had this guitar for about three months now and it is great so far. It does not tune out easily. The finish and whole make-up in general is fair for the price of the guitar. If you get a good amplifier you are ready to roll. I use it most of the times at church with the bigger amplifiers and it brings amazing sound so far. However, you do not want to buy the package; better buy the guitar alone and then find other stuff such strap somewhere else. My strap broke the first week or so, I had to replace with Levi strap. Also, the strings would be made of better quality; if you have a small amplifier the sound may not be satisfactory. However, the strings thing can be fixed.
