I Don't own this exact model. Mine is a early model but with basically the same specs as this bass. It's made in japan so the quality is suberb. You can dial in a large amount of tones...from thick funky tones to Jaco "mwahish" tones. It would be great if they made this as a fretless too.Electronics are great...except i always find myself replacing the 9v battery all the time.It is Built amazingly and the neck is great and very fast to play. The tones are not really my thing anymore..i prefer the sound a a nice jazz bass...but either way this is an exceptional bass for anything.
